Each picture in the gallery below represents a spread in my photo book. The subject I chose for this project was the old factory buildings in northwest Connecticut. I have long been fascinated by these old buildings because of their history and construction so this project was the perfect opportunity to explore them up-close and learn a little more of the stories behind these old factories.
Had finances allowed this book could have easily been 100 pages or more. I was happy to keep taking pictures and doing research but I felt I had to set a limit somewhere. I settled on 30 pages and focused on including what I felt were the most interesting pictures that gave a good general sense of the buildings.

I really enjoy your book. Your love of geometric form is clear in each image where the building and sky play a perfect dance. The historical information adds a nice touch. I urge you to add the card on the front as it is in perfect harmony with the content within.
